Power Point Research Project On Greek Gods and Goddesses
As a Power Point Presentation this activity will be composed of five Power Point Slides containing information on one god or goddess and a works cited page.
Students will creatively, using graphic images and information from both online sources and books available in the classroom and library, prepare the following five slides:
1. God's name and origin
2. Family position/ important relatives on Mt.Olympus
3. Realm, Powers, dealings with humans in myth stories.
4. Official city, tree,symbols,etc.
5. Interesting information to share with class concerning your chosen god or goddess.
Time in class will be given to research available resources, the library will be visited and outside research will be given as homework. Students will have the opportunity to work on projects in Computer Class, and will save their work on a flash drive. They can then present their work in class to the rest of the students in the class.
